Mardochee Louis is the Founder and CEO of MGL Consulting Group, a New Jersey-based accounting and advisory firm specializing in tax preparation, tax planning, bookkeeping, payroll, accounting, and Fractional CFO services for individuals, businesses, and nonprofit organizations. With over 11 years of experience in accounting, auditing, financial reporting, and financial advisory services, Mardochee is dedicated to helping business owners improve profitability, strengthen financial controls, optimize tax strategies, and make informed business decisions. Through MGL Consulting Group, he works closely with entrepreneurs and organizations to build strong financial foundations and achieve long-term success. Prior to founding MGL Consulting Group in 2017, Mardochee held accounting and finance positions with several respected organizations, including Deloitte, EY (Ernst & Young), Marcum LLP, SS&C; Technologies, Prudential Financial, and Togetherwork. His professional background includes external auditing, private equity accounting, financial reporting, and asset-based lending examinations. Throughout his career, he has worked with organizations ranging from startups and nonprofits to global brands such as Ferrari, Maserati, Ralph Lauren, and Nokia. Mardochee earned his bachelor's degree in accounting and finance from Rutgers University and is a graduate of the Rutgers Business School Entrepreneurship Pioneers Initiative (EPI). He is also a graduate of the Duke University Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Program and is currently pursuing his MBA in Data Analytics at Louisiana State University. In addition, he holds the prestigious Enrolled Agent (EA) designation, the highest credential awarded by the Internal Revenue Service, allowing him to represent taxpayers before the IRS. A passionate educator and community leader, Mardochee is a frequent speaker on topics including tax planning, bookkeeping, financial literacy, nonprofit accounting, budgeting, business credit, and Fractional CFO services. He currently serves as the New Jersey Ambassador for the American Business Tax Preparers Association (ABTP) and is an active member of several professional and business organizations throughout New Jersey. Beyond his professional work, Mardochee is the Founder and Commissioner of the Slim BZ Classic, an annual charity basketball tournament established in memory of his late friend Sharod Coleman. The tournament promotes community engagement, youth development, and awareness against gun violence while supporting charitable initiatives throughout the community.
