The annual Fall Update and Review course covers the changes taking place that are needed for the preparation of 2026 federal income tax returns and beyond. The session will review the provisions and changes enacted by Congress pertaining to the provisions of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, H.R.1. 0BBBA provisions include:

  • §224: No tax on qualified tips.
  • §225: No tax on qualified overtime.
  • §151(d)(5): Deduction for seniors age 65 and older.
  • §163(h)(4): Interest deduction on qualified auto loans.
  • §24: Child tax credit expansion and Form 8812.
  • §21: Child and dependent care expenses on Form 2441.
  • §164: Increased state and local tax deductions on Schedule A.
  • §168(k) 100% bonus depreciation.
  • §170: Charitable deduction for non-itemizers.
  • §23: Refundable adoption credit.

The course will also address all the provisions which are annually indexed to inflation and subject to phase out based on a taxpayer’s AGI and modified AGI and filing status. The course will also review the 2026 Draft forms. The course will address IRS Notices, Revenue Procedures, Revenue Rulings and Regulations applicable to individual taxpayers and to the small firm’s practice. The course will also address applicable proposed and final regulations and guidance issued by the IRS pertaining to the One Big Beautiful Bill Act provisions. In addition, the course will provide any new legislation enacted in 2026.

At the conclusion of the course, the participants will have obtained a better working knowledge of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act and the specific provisions pertaining to the permanency of provisions in the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act legislation.

In addition, participants will have reviewed the most important 2026 IRS Draft forms and will be ready to tackle the 2027 filing season.

The following policies apply to all individuals attending our events, regardless of membership status.

Attendance Policy
  • Advance registration is required. We are unable to accommodate walk-in attendees, and payment must be received prior to the start of the class.
  • Only paid registrants can attend seminars. In consideration of your fellow attendees, guests will need to depart before the session begins.
  • Executive Members who do not attend a registered event will be charged a $150 No-Show Fee.
Late Registration Fees
  • 14 days prior to the event: $50.00
  • 7 days prior to the event: $75.00
  • 2 days prior to the event: $95.00
Cancellations, Transfers & Refunds
  • 30+ days prior to the event: Transfer to another event for $35 or receive a full refund.
  • 15–29 days prior to the event: Transfer to another event for $50 or receive a refund.
  • 7–14 days prior to the event: Transfer to another event for $75. No refunds.
  • No partial refunds or discounts will be issued for missed portions of the course.
