Many Small Business Online Resources Available

In support of National Small Business Week, many IRS online resources are available to help small business owners and self-employed individuals handle the tax aspects of their business, the IRS announced. On IRS.gov, the Coronavirus Tax Relief for Businesses and Tax-Exempt Entities webpage is dedicated to business owners to get information about credits and answers to frequently asked questions. Other small business resources include: (1) IRS Social Media hosting a Twitter chat titled “IRS Tips for Small Business Owners” September 24; (2) Self-Employed Individual Tax Center has many useful tips and references to tax rules for self-employed persons; (3) Gig Economy Tax Center, a resource for people who earn income providing on-demand work, services or goods; (4) Online Learning and Educational Products, a page with tools to help taxpayers learn about taxes at their own pace; (5) IRS YouTube Video Channel; (6) E-News for Small Businesses, a free, electronic mail service that offers tax information for small business owners and self-employed individuals, including reminders, tips and special announcements.
