Rodney Boswell, MBA, EA

Rodney Boswell has over 20 years of experience in the tax industry. Stepping right out of graduation from Northwestern State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Associate Degree in Business Administration, he planted his talents and started his career as a staff accountant with a local public accounting firm where he spent 22 years, ultimately making it to senior level leadership as the Director of Client Services.  During this time, he went back to school and received his Masters's in Business Administration with a concentration in Leadership.  In August 2023, he started his own company, IHS Group, with the vision/mission of inspiring people to reach their full potential, save taxes, and accumulate wealth.  

 Technical tax knowledge, premier tax planning strategies, and skills remain very important to Rodney; however, he has found additional passion in business advisory services and leadership development. He is an accomplished coach, mentor, teacher, trainer, and highly sought-after speaker. In addition to delivering staff development programs and seminars to medical professionals and other niche industries, Rodney joined the instructor team at NSTP in 2019 to give back to the industry that has given him so much. His excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a perfect fit for teaching all NSTP education programs.

 Finally, Rodney finds time to give back to the community in many capacities, serving on the local chamber board and other non-profit organizations.
