James E. Ward, Sr., EA, MBA

Mr. James E. Ward, Sr. is the owner of JVJ Business Enterprises Ltd., a financial services firm, which specializes in income tax preparation and consultation, investment counseling, financial planning, and credit consultation. Mr. Ward has conducted numerous seminars, workshops, and courses on ministerial taxation and compensation, real estate, financial planning, retirement planning, estate planning and debt and credit management in the Washington, DC metropolitan area as well as other areas of the country. He has written several magazine articles and is the author of several books including "How To Effectively Deal With Your Debt And Credit Problems" and "How To Get Out of Debt". Mr. Ward has appeared as a guest on numerous radio and television programs and is the former host of the weekly radio program, "The Financial Reporter", which aired on WYCB Radio, 1340 AM in Washington, DC.

He holds professional licenses in insurance, real estate and securities and is a Registered Investment Advisor representative. Mr. Ward received his B.S. degree from the University of Maryland and his MBA degree from Central Michigan University. Prior to his early retirement from the federal government after twenty-five years of service, he served as a senior manager with the U. S. General Accounting Office (GAO). While at GAO, Mr. Ward served for eight years in the Office of Tax Policy and Administration where he was responsible for the oversight of the accuracy of information the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) provided to the general public throughout the entire United States. He is an Enrolled Agent, a designation which permits him to practice before the Internal Revenue Service.

He is an instructor for the Arlington County Public School System Adult Education Program. He also conducts orientation sessions on Christian Stewardship for incoming graduate students at the Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC. Mr. Ward is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals, the National Society of Tax Professionals, the Virginia Society of Enrolled Agents, and the National Association of Enrolled Agents

Mr. Ward served his country for a period of twenty-two years as a member of the U. S. Coast Guard and U. S. Coast Guard Reserve before retiring at the rank of Lieutenant.
