Program Announcement

This course introduces the tax professional to the rules and procedures that are required for assisting taxpayers in the selection process of determining the applicability of the Limited Liability Company as their "entity of choice." The tax professional will be introduced to the unique workings and terminology needed to understand the LLC transactions. Review of the advantages and pitfalls will be discussed. The course discusses the challenging issues of determining basis calculating the taxation of distributions to members and issues of debt.

Advance preparation is not required.
